The Cost of Home Care
We recognise that the cost of home care can be pretty daunting. To try and make things a bit easier, we have made our rates easy to understand and very competitive.
We don't have any hidden charges, so you will be able to work out, in advance, how much the cost of your care will be* per week or month etc.
*Subject to change in the event that any visits are cancelled or extra visits are added.
Home Care
We will tailor a home care package to your individual needs. Our home carers are fully trained in all aspects of domiciliary care.
Our home carers will assist and support you in everyday living.
Every encouragement will be given to encourage and enable you to live as independently as possible.
Dementia Care
We will work with persons living with dementia and their families to build a package of care around the needs of the individual. All staff are registered 'Dementia Friends'.
We know that there is more to a person than the dementia.

Helping Hand Homecare will provide the list of services below.

- Assistance with washing, bathing and showering
- Assistance with bed bathing
- Assistance with toileting, incontinence pads etc.
- Assistance with dressing and undressing, getting up and going to bed
- Assistance with medication
- Assistance with medical care where appropriate
- Assistance with planning and shopping
- Assistance with paying bills and pension collection
- Assistance with cleaning and housework
- Assistance with laundry and ironing
- Assistance with management of fuel and heating
- Assistance with feeding
- Care of skin, hair, teeth and nails, where appropriate
- Day sitting service
- Food preparation at the client’s home
- Night sleep or sitting service
- Support for persons living with dementia
- Support with complex health needs
- Support for people with learning disabilities
- Support with medication
- Support for those with people with physical or sensory impairments
We recognise that individual care packages will vary according to the assessed needs of the Service User and will be described in the Service User’s Care Plan. If the care or assistance you require is not detailed above we will be delighted to look at your requirements with you and develop an appropriate care package.
